Shannon Wampler Fiscus Bloomington, Indiana Obituary

Shannon Wampler Fiscus

Shannon Wampler Fiscus, aged 62 years, died at her home of natural causes on March 6, 2017. Beloved of her family and friends for her frank yet sweet and caring nature, Shannon was a direct descendent of some of the original pioneers in Beanblossom Township, including the McCown and Wampler families. Her family has made its home in Monroe County for generations. Shannon was predeceased by her father, Glenn Wampler; her mother, Virginia Marxson Wampler; her son, Ian Gregory; her husband, Aaron Fiscus; and her first cousin, Ruston Cone. Her surviving close relatives include her paternal aunt, Evelyn Wampler Cone; her first cousins: Tara Cone Dooley, Mark Snoddy, Rob Snoddy, John Wampler, Susan Wampler, Nancy Wampler, Tom Henry Wampler, and their children and grandchildren; as well as her ex-husband, David Gregory. Shannon's bodily remains are interred at Rose Hill Cemetery and there will be no memorial service. Shannon's life reminds us all to hold our loved ones near as death may come when we least expect it. Instead of flowers, caring friends and family are encouraged to treat themselves and their loved ones to a special occasion.
