Marilyn R. "Lynn" Semon, age 66, of Madison, Indiana passed away at 12:30 AM on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at her residence.
Born November 7, 1937 in Bloomington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Talmadge and Edna (Hackler) Turpin. She was married to Charles L. Semon on June 29, 1957.
Mrs. Semon was a homemaker, an avid IU fan, and a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS
Mrs. Semon is survived seven daughters: Cathy Turner, Victoria Davis, Tamra Estes, Lori Brinson and Susan Ellis, all of Madison, Kelly Payne of Bloomington, and Kari Smith of Hanover, Indiana; three sons: Daniel Semon of Adairsville, Georgia, and Jacob and Charles Semon, Jr. both of Madison; four sisters: Patricia Antonucciu and Catherine Woods, both of California, Louella Fultz of Florida and Dorothy of Indianapolis; twenty-seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Betty Ann Turpin, and three brothers: Ernest, Joseph and William Turpin.
SERVICES
The Reverend John Meyer will conduct funeral services at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at the Lytle-Gans Funeral Home, 423 West Main Street, with burial to follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
VISITATION
Friends and family may gather from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 and after 9 AM on Wednesday at Lytle-Gans Funeral Home.
EXPRESSIONS
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church or the American Lung Association of Indiana. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
