Noradel E. Larsen

Noradel E. (Dotson) Larsen, the daughter of Clem and Florence (Gochanour) Dotson was born January 12, 1924 in Story County, Iowa. She was called to her heavenly home on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa at the age of 92.

She received her education and graduated from Seneca High School and continued her education at Hamilton Business College in Mason City.

On May 19, 1945 she was united in marriage to Harvey L. Larsen in Waukegan, Illinois. Following their marriage the couple farmed and raised their five children near Swea City.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City.

Left to cherish Noradel's memory are her husband of 71 years, Harvey of Swea City; daughter, Marcia (Duane) Holst of Lake City, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Laura Larsen of Des Moines, Iowa; sons, Steve (Sandy) Larsen of Swea City; Chuck (Renee) Larsen of Seward, Nebraska; Ronald Larsen of Manley, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Veloris Dotson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Eleanor Dotson of Moline, Illinois and Bernice Koster of Worthington, Minnesota.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; son, Leroy; one sister and five brothers.
