Nancy Irene Hartman, 59, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Blue Mound, Kansas. She was born May 18, 1952 in Tillmook, Oregon, the daughter of John and Opal Hawkins Kaiser. She married Marvin Hartman on July 26, 1970. Nancy was self-employed as a painter, but also worked as a caregiver in the Blue Mound area. She is remembered as someone who always wanted to help others. She was a Seventh Day Adventist. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Terry, Johnny and Harold Kaiser. Survivors include her husband, Marvin of Blue Mound, Kansas; three sons; Scott, David and John Hartman, all of Blue Mound; two daughters, Alisha Hartman of Spring Hill, Kansas and Amanda Weller of Kincaid, Kansas; two brothers, Virgil Kaiser of Blue Mound, Kansas and Elmer Kaiser of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Laura Hartman; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Federated Church, Blue Mound, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Nancy Hartman Memorial Fund. Interment will be in the Kincaid Cemetery, Kincaid, Kansas.
