Nancy J. Houchen (88) of Falmouth, KY passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home. Nancy was born in Morgan, KY on January 16, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Lowe Stevens. Nancy taught home economics at the Falmouth High School, was a member of the Falmouth Christian Church, former Board Chairman, sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Nancy also worked as a Falmouth Merchant and was owner of Houchens Clothing. She served as Extension Homemaker President with 15 years of perfect attendance, was on the State Extension Advisory Council, Pendleton Co. Extension District Board and was 1999 River Valley Nursing Home Volunteer of the year. In addition to her parents Nancy is preceded in death by her Daughter- Nancy Carol Houchen and Brother- Lee B. Stevens. Survivors include her Husband- Carol F. Houchen, Son- Steve (Cindy) Houchen, Daughter- Lisa Houchen, Grandchildren- Erin Houchen, Paige Sherman, Great Grandchildren- Janzen and Jairus Houchen Wilder. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Funeral will be held at 11am on Wednesday the Falmouth Christian Church. Nancy’s final resting place will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the Falmouth Christian Church, 303 W.
