Calvin Ray Douglas, 61, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Frankfort, husband of Sheila Rose Corman Douglas, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at his residence. Born in Danville July 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Ansel V. & Edith L. Worthington Douglas. Mr. Douglas was a member of New Life Worship Center in Frankfort and was former owner/operator of Douglas Tire in Frankfort.
Besides his wife of 32 years, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Douglas Rojas of Frankfort and Jennifer BeAnn (Jimmy) Douglas Roberts of Largo, Fla.; two sons, Thomas Ray (Sheila Gwen) Douglas and Christopher Lee (Natalie) Douglas both of Frankfort; two sisters, Rev. Betty Douglas Lampkin and Glenda Douglas Goins both of Frankfort; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Douglas Tracy.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday February 7, 2009, at New Life Worship Center, 770 Ridgeview Dr., Frankfort, with Bishop Gene Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Friday at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles Road.
