RUSH, Carl L., on February 19th in the year of our Lord 2017 the dearest soul on earth passed from our hands into God's. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Marty Rush; sisters, Kallie Rush and Jayne Rush Steinke. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carol Nash Rush; his daughter, Kellen Rush Gregory (Dain); son, C.J. Rush (Madi); grandchildren, Marshall, Clara, Anslee and Lake Gregory; and brothers, Chuck (Deanna), Terry (Anita), and Richard (Barbara) Rush. He was a member of St. Leonard Parish and the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Spalding Council No. 2761. He retired after 35 years of service with Henry Vogt Machine Co. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 25, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at St. Leonard Church, 440 Zorn Avenue. Visitation will follow from 1-7 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Rush/Gregory Education Fund for Carl's grandchildren. The Rush/Nash family flags are flying half mast for their beloved brother Carl.
