Linda Lemoine Obituary

Linda Normand Lemoine, 74, a retired teacher and life-long resident of Marksville, Louisiana, departed this life on December 10, 2016 while in the comfort of her own home. A beloved mother, Linda is survived by Penny Hale (O'Neal), Gregory Lemoine, Scott Lemoine (Kendra) and Kristen Stutts (Tony). Linda was a dearly loved ‘Nana’ of 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Nealie, Summer, Lindsay, and Remington along with 1 great-grandchild, Emma. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an avid reader of the Bible. A cherished and adored friend, Linda touched the lives of many with her delightful presence; she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. Linda is predeceased by her father, Lawrence Normand, and her mother, Ura Gaspard Normand. Linda’s family would like to give a special thanks to Christine Armand, Katrina Stanford, Leona Hayes, Shontria Louis, Trness Wilson, Stephanie Alexander, and Doris Horne for the kind and vigilant care that they provided for Linda during her brief plight with cancer. A memorial service will be held on December 17, 2016 at 12:30pm for the family and friends of Linda Lemoine at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville.
