Lafayette was where she grew up, married and raised her family, while contributing time to the family business, Delhomme Funeral Home, Inc. She lived her life as St. Augustine professed, “What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.”
As a family we are eternally grateful to God, Our Blessed Mother Mary, and St. Joseph for allowing you, Billie-Mom-Grandmother, to show us the meaning of true Love. To all of you, who have loved her through your prayers, thank you.
