Farmington – Diana R. Richard, 96, a longtime resident of Livermore Falls, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 4th at Sandy River Center in Farmington, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 19, 1920 in Northbridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joseph Chabot and Valeda (Gilbert) Chabot. She attended school in Livermore Falls. On February 7, 1938 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, she married Ivan J. Richard, he passed away September 19, 1994. Diana owned and operated 3 local restaurants, she also owned and managed a rental property on Main Street in Livermore Falls. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 3335 in Jay and the American Legion Auxiliary George Bunton Post 10 in Livermore Falls. She enjoyed playing cards and spending summers at Roxbury Pond. She is survived by her son, Fred Richard of Auburn; her daughter, Dolores Miller and her husband Robert of Livermore Falls; 5 grandchildren, Laureen Olsen, Robert Miller, Jr., Fred Richard, Jr., Noreen Lyons and Nancy Ailes; 10 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Fred, Joe and Willie Chabot and her sister, Dorothy Galuza.
