Tamela E. Lyman
Boston – Tamela “Tammy” E. Lyman, 57, a resident of Lewiston, passed away, Wednesday, November 30th at Massachusetts General in Boston, following a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born December 23, 1958, in Farmington, the daughter of Philip C. Lyman and Jeannine (Goulet) Lyman. Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and continued her education at Central Maine Technical Institute in Auburn, receiving her degree in Business Administration. Tammy worked as a billing clerk at SPC Transportation in Auburn. She enjoyed camping, going to concerts and plays, loved going to the beach and greatly loved her retail shopping therapy. She treasured her moments spent with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews, her companion Mark, sons, Bryan, Brandon and Austin, and her granddoggers, “Slugger” and “Tek”. She was deeply admired by her sons for being such a loving and devoted mother, and for the values she taught them through the years. She will be remembered for always living her life with a positive attitude, which she truly showed during the past nine years, as she continued to beat the odds of her disease. She will be greatly missed by so many. May you rest in peace Tammy, we love you. She is survived by her longtime companion, Mark Larzelere of Lewiston; Bryan Ouellette and his companion, Cali Saenzroa of Boston; Brandon Ouellette and his husband, Dan Svenson of Westbrook; and Austin Ouellette and his companion Kristin Haitz of Truckee, California; and her sisters, Debbie Fournier and Donna Barbato and her husband Scott of all of Greene.
