Susan M. Albert

Millinocket – Susan M. Albert, 61, passed away peacefully Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home with her family by her side, where she wanted to be and with whom she wanted to be with. Sue was born February 15, 1955, the daughter of Kelsie and Pauline (Kinney) Fish. She was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1973. Sue was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and Nannie. She was a great cook, loved playing volleyball and "trains", and being with her family. She was an exceptional crafter, she especially enjoyed cross stitching and knitting. Her best times were spent at camp with all of her family. She loved watching her children and her grand babies at the beach. Her house was the gathering place for all the family get together. Some of her most memorable times were on family vacations and on shopping trips with her mom, sisters, daughter and friends. In addition to her father, Kelsie Fish, Sue is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve Albert; a daughter, Michelle Brundett and her husband Jamie; a son, Wayne Albert and his wife Misty; six grandchildren, Aliana, Antony, Nolan, Laney, Alexandra, and Ella; four siblings, Linda Fish, Debbie Barnes and her husband Jim, David Fish and his wife Nancy, and Tom Fish; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sue will also be missed by many special friends. She was predeceased by her mother. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 P.M. Friday, November 4 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 A.M. Saturday, November 5 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket, with the Rev. Bruce Siket, pastor, presider. Interment will be private.
