Paul Duprey

NORTH BROOKFIELD- Paul Duprey, 92, grew up in Quinsigamond Village in Worcester, passed away on Wednesday,November 23,2016. He leaves the love of his life of 64 years Adella "Dolly" Balchunas who never left his side; Dollys niece Barbara Balchunas of North Brookfield, who he enjoyed watching sports and spending time with; his nephew Bill Duprey and Linda MacLellan of worcester; several great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 3 brothers Edward,James & Robert all of Worcester and 2 nephews Robert " Duke" Duprey and Ronald Duprey. He was born on September 24,1924 the son of the late Maurice and Grace (Hargadon) Duprey. Paul proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He worked many years at New England Power Co. where he was a linesman and also a truck driver until he retired. Paul enjoyed woodworking and watching sports. He was a very generous man ,had a great sense of humor and would give anyone a helping hand. Dolly and Paul enjoyed their times entertaining and going out dancing together. The funeral for Paul will be celebrated on Wednesday,November 30,2016 with a Mass at 11:00AM in St.Josephs Church 296 N.Main St. North Brookfield. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the parish cemetery.
