Anthony Bernabei

<p>Anthony Bernabei, formerly of Orient Heights East Boston, loving son of the late Antonio and Anna Bernabei passed away on October 25, 2016 after a lengthy illness.</p><p>Attended schools in Boston and Brighton, graduated as a licensed pipe fitter from the Peterson school of Steam, became a licensed Operating Engineer and was a member of the Boston branch of the International union of operating engineers, local 4 for 59 years.</p><p>Tony was a creative, inventive and intelligent man that had fond memories of his childhood on Cottage St. He had great friends and loved his family and friends get together. A true patriot with a strong knowledge of history and a collector of WWll books of battles and their leaders often reviewed through his library of videos and audio tapes.</p><p>After retiring, he moved to Green Acres, Florida. During this time he volunteered for the Palm Beach County Citizens on Patrol. He also served on the board of the Pine Ridge 3. He resided with his wife Adele Shality Bernabei until his passing.</p><p>He will be sadly missed by his sister Jeannie Gaeta and husband Russell Engebretson, daughters Ellisa Peterson and Tammy Zak. Son-in-laws Scott Peterson and Edward Zak. Six grandchildren, Amanda, Zack, Paige, Morgan, Lexie and Luke.</p><p>A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11am at the St. Luke Catholic Church. 2892 Congress Ave Palm Springs, Florida.</p><p>Donations may be made to hospice of Palm Beach county foundation. 5300 East Avenue.
