Welch, Charles S. 74, of East Boston, formerly of Revere, passed November 13, 2016. Beloved husband of Joanne (Jouve) Welch. Loving father of Bridget Hennen and her husband Mark of Boston, MA Amy Battisti and her husband Stephen of Deerfield, MA Carrie Palmer and her husband Michael of Hadley MA. Dear brother of Mary Ellen Welch of East Boston, Eleanor MacMullen and her husband Gary of ME, and John “Jack” Welch of Canton. Cherished grandfather of Samuel and Madeline Battisti. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Charles’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street REVERE on Thursday, November 17 from 4PM to 8PM and again at 9:00AM Friday morning before leaving in procession to the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10:00AM. Committal service will be private. Late Member of the Army National Guard.
