James Jordan

Of West Newton, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his home. He was 60. Born and raised in Cambridge, he was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School, and earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University. Mr. Jordan worked as Coding and reimbursement Manager at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston for many years. Jim’s greatest joys were spending time with his family, especially his mom. Being on stage with his band members and playing the blues harp were Jim’s most treasured moments! He also loved playing baseball, traveling to Aruba, and SCUBA diving. He is survived by his loving Mother Linda Jordan of San Diego, his beloved father James Jordan and his wife Chris of Hopkinton, his sisters Kim Jordan of San Diego, Lisa Jordan and her husband Noel Madarang of San Diego, and Cara Jordan of Mansfield, and his brother Matthew Jordan and his wife Rachel of New Hampshire, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And his best friends Richie Vabulas, Nancy Saltalamacchia, and Michelle Micale Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. with a memorial service in celebration of James' life beginning at 2:30 p.m.. Parking attendants will be on duty.
