Marvin Arthur Parker, 74, of Coldwater, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 surrounded by his family at home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bronson with Pastor Shayne Looper officiating. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Marvin was born March 24, 1942 in Coldwater. He graduated from Coldwater High School. Marvin entered the United States Navy on January 31, 1962 and was discharged on May 27, 1965 having attained the rank of EM2. He was employed as a skilled laborer for the City of Coldwater. Marvin was a member of Lockwood Community Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing and especially being with his family. Marvin is survived by his son; Kevin Parker of Coldwater, his granddaughter; Sarah Parker of Coldwater, his siblings; Theo Parker of Coldwater and Sherry Crow of Coldwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother; Marland “Smokey” Parker, his sisters; Wanda Byers and Valda Parker.
