Ralph William Goodwin, 62, of Bronson, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, surrounded by his family at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler officiating. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Ralph was born October 5, 1954 in San Marcos, Texas to Ralph and Lois (Daglow) Goodwin. He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and married Laurie A. Ward on July 21, 1978 in Coldwater. Ralph worked as a furnace operator for 25 years at Voltek in Coldwater. He currently worked at Cardinal IGF in Fremont, Indiana for the past 15 years. Ralph was a proud member of NRA. He enjoyed a lifetime of hunting, fishing and trapping. Ralph’s life was dedicated to taking care of his family. Ralph is survived by his wife of 38 years Laurie; his children, Scott Lee (Jessica L.) Goodwin of Howe, Indiana, Jennifer (Josh) Smith of Bronson, Sarah Goodwin of Coldwater, Jessica Goodwin of Bronson and his niece Kala Robinson of Homer; he will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren and his brother, Chet Goodwin of Quincy.
