Raymond “Ray” Wilson, 65, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta with Pastor Steve Olmstead officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Ray was born October 21, 1951 to Robert F. and Ruth (Bartlett) Wilson in Coldwater. He was married to Mary (Remsing) Wilson which ended in divorce. Ray entered the United States Army on January 20, 1971 and was honorably discharged on January 20, 1973 having attained the rank of SP4. Ray hauled freight for many years in the Coldwater and Detroit areas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, working on cars, Karaoke, watching John Wayne movies, but he especially loved being with his family. Ray is survived by his children; Grant Wilson of Coldwater and Karen (Jon) Edwards of Coldwater, his very best friend; Marylee Parris of Coldwater, his grandchildren; Haley, Alyssa, Eli, Rylan, Bryton, Lizzy, Emma, Abby, Lillie, Annabelle and Ava. He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 brothers, Floyd and Randy and his 2 sisters, Helen May and Clara Weller.
