Praise The Lord! Nancy Carolyn Chaney-Wynes was born September 28, 1956, to the late Margaret Lee Chaney and Jessie James Brooks. She was born in Halifax, Virginia. Nancy and Jessie James Brooks. She was born in Halifax, Virginia. Nancy and her mother relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where she attended Detroit Public Schools. Nancy obtained her GED and Certification of Nursing. Accepting Christ whole heartedly, Nancy joined House of Prayer Church and continued her fellowship as a member of Mt. Sinai House of Prayer. Nancy became an Evangelist and a great prayer warrior.Nancy was united in holy matrimony to Harold Wynes (whom preceded her in death).
Cherished by all and loved by many, Nancy's love, kind and entrusted spirit blessed those around her. Everyone that knew her will always remember her for her delightful introduction, "Praise the Lord!" Years of love and memories will be treasured y her family that loved her dearly. Nancy leaves her love to her daughter, Nykeah Taylor (David Ehrlichman); son, Thomas Chaney (Tiana); two granddaughters, Antonia Taylor and Nevaeh Chaney; one great-granddaughter, Zoe' Crenshaw; four brothers, Marvin, Steven (Vanny), Mark (Felicia), and Shawn (Anita); two sisters, Gloria and Tracie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
