Bernice Inez Miller Westphalia Bernice I. Miller, age 87, passed away on January 2, 2017. Bernice was born March 10, 1929 to Charles “Frank” and Elsie (Noffsinger) Gross. Bernice was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia and the Christian Mother’s Society. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard who passed away in 1997; and siblings, Wallace (Jean), Mary Lou, and Marie. Bernice is survived by her children, David (Nan) Miller, Joseph (Cindy) Miller, Paul Miller, Ann (Dennis) Baker, Mary (Ralph) Willemin, and Karen Pung; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Gloria), Joan (Julio), Irene (Jack), and Mike (Theresa); brother-in-law, Donald Miller and special friends, Jeanie Schroeder and Alicia Rademacher. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia on Thursday, January 5, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Eric Weber presiding. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia St., Westphalia.
