Rachel Lee Waeltz Portland Rachel Waeltz, age 34, passed away October 22, 2016. She was born on September 25, 1982 in Grand Rapids, MI to Henry Moore and Iris Marsh. Rachel was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving a tour in Iraq. Rachel enjoyed decorating, oil painting, and fishing. She loved her cats and the Harry Potter series. Rachel is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy. Rachel is survived by her precious children, Ethan and Audrina; father, Henry (Kathy) Moore; mother, Iris Marsh; siblings, Janie (Tim) Bain-Stanley, Crystal Myers, Lettie (Joe) Cox, Henry Moore Jr., Nicholas (Jen) Mull, Michael (Kassi) Mull, and Richard Moore; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friends, Nathan Farrell and Lynn Colvin; and her second family, Chuck and Edith Farrell, Lindsay Farrell, and Adam Farrell. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Edwin Snook on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland, MI.
