Richard Thomas Pline Portland Richard T. Pline, age 81, passed away December 9, 2016. He was born on September 14, 1935, the son of Ferdinand and Marian (Thomas) Pline. Richard was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors after 30 years and enjoyed welding, hunting, and fishing in his free-time. Richard is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Pline; brother, Donald Pline; and sister, Elizabeth Weese. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, JoAnn (Smith) Pline; son, Jeffrey Pline; daughter, Kathy Pline; grandchildren, Jesse and Brock; siblings, Judy (Lyle) Braley and Robert (Linda) Pline; and daughter-in-law, Robin (Phil Martin) Pline. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Larry King at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
