Freeman Hurt, 77, of Hattiesburg, passed away on January 29, 2017. He was born on September 26, 1939, to Vincent and Mrytis Hurt in Hazard, KY. Mr. Hurt is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Harold Ray Hurt; and six siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Susie; three daughters: Pam Robertson of Robert, LA, Deborah Maples of Oak Grove and Sherry Risk of Oak Grove; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters: Wilma Beitzel of Hot Springs, AR and Kathy Sundberg of Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017, 5-8pm at Forrest Funeral Home. The service will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 2:00pm in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
