Mr. James “Buddy” Calvin Brown, 58, passed away on Sunday January 1, 2017 in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 12:30PM until 1:50PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Cemetery in Collinsville, MS; there will be no graveside services. Officiating will be Rev. James McMillan. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Brown had lived in Lake, MS for the past ten years where he moved from Pensacola, FL, in which he lived for twenty-one years. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris Brown; and his sister, Rachel Horn. He is survived by two sons, Matthew Brown of Blanchard, OK and Allen Brown of Tyler, TX; two sisters, Ella Partridge of Meridian, MS and Deliliah McMillan of Forest, MS; two grandchildren, and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Jason Neese, Marvin McMillan, T.C. Smith, Josh Sims, Will Fike, Greg Tabb, and Bill Fike.
