John D. Martin, age 70, passed away on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at his residence in Lena, MS. A memorial service will be held at his residence on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 1:00PM. Officiating will be Bruce Buffington. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Martin had lived in Lena, MS for the past twenty-five years where he moved from Jackson, MS. He was of the Presbyterian Faith and loved to hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mariann Martin. He is survived by his wife, Linda Holmes Martin of Lena, MS; his son, Chris Martin of Jackson, MS; one sister, Molly Masters of Laurel, MS; one grandchild, Presley Lynn Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
