Connie Horne

Mrs. Connie B. Horne, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Mrs. Horne was born on February 12, 1950 in Lafayette, LA. She was a real estate agent who loved nature, especially camping and fishing. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and playing the lottery. She loved animals and was always ready to do anything outdoors. Mrs. Horne is survived by her husband, Jerry Horne of Ozark, MO; two sons, Jerry Horne, Jr. and Craig Horne, both of Springfield, MO; her mother, Bernice Bordelon of Houma, LA; two sisters, Sharon Adkins of Holly Springs, MS and Susie Bordelon of Houma, LA; and one brother, Donnie Bordelon of Loreauville, LA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Bordelon and her brother, David Bordelon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10am in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 6-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
