Lynnette Dee Songer Sept. 19, 1945 – Aug. 23, 2016 Lynnette Dee Songer, of Independence, MO, passed away on August 23, 2016 at the age of 70. Lynnette was born September 19, 1945 in Modesto, California. She was the daughter of James Brooks Boyd and Bernice Esther (Iversen) Sneed. Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents. Lynnette is survived by her three daughters Diana Lynn Mayo, Dondi Layne Bates of Bradenton, Florida and Melissa Songer of Independence Missouri. One son Dion Lee Cregeen and wife Amanda of Kirksville, Missouri. One brother Tyrone Boyd and wife Kathy of California and one sister Janet Line also of California. Nine grandchildren; Johnathon Bates, Tiffany Bates, Maryanne Mayo, Crystal King, Garrett Blodgett and girlfriend Brittany Green, Courtney Blodgett and fiance Coty Meredith, Cody Cregeen, Kyle Cregeen, Shawna Marie Anna Conner and one great grandson, Garrett Blodgett Jr. Lynnette was an avid lover and collector of pigs, enjoyed drinking coffee, visiting, and play canasta. Keeping with Lynnette’s wishes, a private family viewing was held followed by cremation.
