Thomas Spray

Thomas Leroy Spray went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2016. Born August 6, 1938 to the late Lyle and Velma (Almond) Spray. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dianne Sue Spray. He is survived by his five sons, Edward Leroy Spray of Kansas City, Kansas, Gregory Leon Spray of Kansas City, Kansas, Michael Leslie Spray and wife Susie Holt of Kansas City, Kansas, James Leviticus Spray and fiancé’ Ashely Nichole Hale of Trenton, Missouri and Jared Levi Spray of Bolivar, Missouri. His three daughters; Tressa Lynn Spray of Pleasanton, Kansas, Barbara Louise Workman and husband Eldon of Eudora, Kansas, Lori Lee Spray and fiancé Kenneth Cross of Pleasanton, Kansas; one brother Quinn Spray of Roodhouse, Illinois; two sisters Ruth Howard of Green Castle, Missouri and Edna Lee Winding of Independence Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Thomas was a veteran for the U.S. Army and served two tours in the Vietnam war. He loved fishing, watching all types of sports and reading westerns, he was the chief cook and bottle washer as well a master donut maker. Thomas was a positive and loving man who was always there for his family and loved his animals. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm.at East Mount Zion Cemetery in Pleasanton KS.
