Phil Addison, 87, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Jan. 17, 2017. Visitation will be from 3-5pm Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at the chapel. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery. Phil was born on December 12, 1929 in Hays, KS to Francis Sr. and Marjorie (Robinett) Addison. His family moved to Kansas City in 1940. For over 60 years, Phil worked at several Automobile Dealerships managing their parts department. He was very passionate about cars and trucks. This same passion led him to the Indy 500 for the last 67 years! Survivors include; loving wife of 36 years, Sharon Addison; daughters Marjorie (Roger Davis) Fears; Linda (Rick) Rubicam, and Sandra (Alan) Worden; sons Randy (Laurie) Addison and Philip Bellis; grandchildren Casey Fears, Stacy Smith, Roger (Jo) Davis II, Keith (Angela) Rubicam, Daniel (Kim) Rubicam, Maribeth Rubicam, Parker Worden, Seth Worden, Elizabeth Addison, Kimberly (Trae) Smith; great grandchildren Addysen, Kaden, Karson, Kayleigh, Roger III, Cindy, Cody, Lauren, Jerry and Daniel; great great grandson Austin; his beloved furry girls Sadie and Star; a large extended family and many friends. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Society, or the charity of you choice.
