1950 ~ 2016 James Stephen Schieber, 65, of Archie, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, in Stanberry, Missouri. Jim was born December 25, 1950, in Maryville, Missouri the son of Paul Andrew and Magdalene Dorothy (Lager) Schieber. He was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson High School, Conception Junction, Missouri. After returning from his service in the U S Army, Jim married Molly Grace Ellis on August 31, 1974 in Conception Junction. He was a Crane operator for Doherty Steel of Paola, Kansas; a member of St Columba Parish and the Tri-C American Legion Post #464, Conception Junction. Jim was preceded in death by a son: Paul Dean Schieber; his parents and a grandson: Dominick Andrews. Survivors include his wife: Molly Schieber, of their home; a daughter: Jamie (Chad) Andrews, Archie, Missouri and son: Josh (Karri) Schieber, Stanberry; 5 grandchildren: Christian, Mollie and Lexie Andrews; Paxton, Kynnadi Schieber; 7 brothers: Harry (Mary), Maryville; Jerry (Rita), Conception; Paul (Susie), Maryville; Tony (Cleanne), Iowa City, Iowa; Ray, (Liz) Maryville; Kenny, Omaha, Nebraska and Dennis (Diane), Conception Jct., Missouri; 6 sisters: Kate Henry, Conception Junction; Liz Effinger, St Louis, Missouri; Bernadette (Stephen) Meyer, Guilford, Missouri; Patricia (Gerald) Schmitz and Marilyn (Ray)Jermain, Conception Junction and Diane (Harvey)VanNordstrand, Council Bluffs, Iowa; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. A Rosary Service for family and friends will be 6 :00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at St Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, with visitation following. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction with burial in St Columba Cemetery, Conception, Missouri. Graveside Military services will be conducted by the Missouri Military Honors Team and The Tri-C American Legion Post #464.
