Karen Suiter

Karen Diane Suiter of Richwoods, Missouri was born on December 21, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri. A daughter of the late, Quentin Moore and Joan (Comstock) Moore. Karen departed this life at the Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-nine years, nine months and twenty-one days. Karen was united in marriage to Garry Suiter on August 31, 1973 in Farmington, Missouri and this union was blessed with two children. Karen is survived by her husband, Garry Suiter of Richwoods, Missouri; one daughter, Christina Renee Suiter of Richwoods, Missouri; one son, Matthew Todd Suiter and wife, Barbara of Richwoods, Missouri; one granddaughter, Sara Suiter of Richwoods, Missouri; four sisters, Janet Siegel and husband, Rick of Irondale, Missouri; Sandra Essmyer of Irondale, Missouri; Michelle Bailey of Potosi, Missouri; Paula Baldwin and Don of Park Hills, Missouri; six brothers, Rick Moore of Bismarck, Missouri; Gary Moore and wife, Cindy of Potosi, Missouri; Paul Moore and friend, Paula Turner of Patton, Missouri; Michael Moore and wife, Sherry of Farmington, Missouri; Richard Moore of Park Hills, Missouri; Mark Moore and wife, Gisela of Farmington, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and friends. Karen loved spending time with her family and dogs, especially her dog Carley. She enjoyed sewing, reading books and beautiful flowers. Karen was a kind and generous woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church, Richwoods, Missouri with Father Bob Knight officiating. Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Matthew Suiter, Mark Moore, Marcus Moore, Robert Keen Jr., Joe Jarret and Paul Moore. Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
