Phyllis Warden Obituary

Phyllis Lea Warden of Potosi, Missouri was born on September 8, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri. A daughter of the late, Wilma P. (Baker) Marler and the late, Arnold Lee Marler. Phyllis departed this life on December 31, 2016 at her residence having reached the age of seventy-one years, three months and twenty-three days. Phyllis is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Pashia and husband, Bill of Potosi, Missouri; Denise Walton and husband, Mark of Potosi, Missouri; Tracy Lee Napier and friend, Jimmy of DeSoto, Missouri; two sisters, Elaine Aly of Bonita Springs, Florida; Marilyn Marler of Norman, Oklahoma; three brothers, William Marler of Mascogee, Oklahoma; Thomas Marler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Leonard Marler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Andrea, Derek, Justin, Marcus, Melinda, Brett and Sydney; nine great-grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon James Warden, two sisters, Sharon Thom and Linda Blevins. Phyllis enjoyed reading, watching hummingbirds, working in her garden and looking at all the beautiful flowers. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and always looked forward to a shopping trip. Phyllis was very kind hearted and loved her family and friends dearly who will all deeply miss her. A Memorial Graveside Service was held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Tony Dattilo officiating. Moore Funeral Homes is honored to have served Phyllis, her family and friends.
