Daniel Lee Long, 73, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at his home at 10:35 a.m. Daniel was born June 18, 1943 in Cairo, IL, he was the son of the late Marshall “Bosco” and Anna Long. Daniel was a retired carpenter working on many residential houses. Daniel is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Long of Springfield, MO, two brothers and two sisters. Five children, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO with Rev. Ryan Palmer officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, MO Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
