Edythe Marie Acuff Appleby was born June 2, 1923, passed away March 19, 2017 at The Maples in Springfield, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Kite Appleby after 54 years of marriage and a son Sammie Appleby. Edythe is survived by her daughter Raymalee McGee, 4 grandchildren: Greg (Tara) Boehne, Sean (Sarah) Appleby, Shane (Stephanie) Appleby and Leanne (Jason) Morgan. 8 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and a brother Frank Acuff. She worked at Cox hospital for 27 years, was a member of Ash Grove Methodist church for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers donations to South Side Senior Center in Springfield where she was leader of Bridge for a few years; or Ash Grove Cemetery. She cherished all her friendships, many of which were formed through her love of Bridge. Visitation is Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Followed by a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. at Ash Grove Cemetery.
