Eden Dagdag

MOULTONBOROUGH- Eden Dagdag (Currier) ,34, of Cuyapo N.E. Philippines and Melrose Mass. died February 9, 2017 at Mass. General Hospital after a long battle of cancer. Born in the Philippines and went to school in Moultonborough where she made many lifelong friends. After returning to the Philippines to continue her education, she began her own family having 3 children. April - 16, Bryant -13 (both of Washington State) and Czairah - 10 (of Moultonborough NH). While in her native country she was shop keeper of her own small grocery store. She worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong and Singapore. One of her proud achievements was mastering 4 languages: Tagalog, Ilocono, English and Chinese. She loved social media and whether friends and family knew it she was keenly aware of what was going on everywhere throughout the world. The one thing we will all remember is her infectious smile and her contagious laugh. Throughout of her life until very end she stayed true to her faith in God. Her joys in life were social gatherings with friends and family. Eden is survived by her mother Erlinda and her step-father Greg Currier of Moultonborough; her sister Avelyn and her brother in law Tom Ward of Melrose Mass.; her brother Avegil Dagdag of Olongapo City Philippines; her 3 children April - 16, Bryant -13 (both of Washington State) and Czairah - 10 (of Moultonborough NH); her niece Nikki and Nana Joan Jones formerly of Moultonborough; Aunt Deidra Lambert and cousins Jayson and Heather of Windham, NH; Aunt Elizabeth and uncle JB Morin, cousins Ryan and Kaitlyn Morin of Moultonborough; Uncle Jim and Kristin (deceased) Currier - cousins Myles and Danny of Moultonborough; and many family members too numerous to mention in her native country, but they are remembered fondly. We thank all who took care of her through her battle with cancer and making her feel the love and be comfortable as possible. Calling hours will be at Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith - Saturday February 18, 2017 from 1-3pm. Following at 4pm we will would like you to join us at Center Harbor Diner. Gravesite burial for family and close friends will be held later in the Spring.
