Howard Parker

Howard Glenwood Parker Jr., 70, of Ledgewood Lane, Ashland, died February 19, 2017 at his home, after a period of declining health. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts on December 26, 1946, he was the son of the late Howard G. Sr. and the late Margaret Ann (Thimmer) Parker. Howard graduated from the Hartford School for the Deaf, in Hartford, CT. and attended Claremont Vo-Tech and Fitchburg State Collage. He has been a resident of the Holderness and Ashland area for many years. Howard had worked a many various jobs through-out Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Howard enjoyed swimming in Squam Lake, watching sports and loved a good practical joke. Howard is survived by his sister, Dorothy A. Thompson and her husband Skip, of Holderness, nieces, Sharon Hamann and her husband Brian, Stacy Davis and her husband Blaine. He is also survived by three great nieces and a great nephew. Private graveside services will be held in the Spring in the Trinity Churchyard Cemetery, Holderness. Deacon Michael Guy will officiate.
