Lawrence “Larry” Curtis, 45, of Brick, passed away on September 2, 2013. Born in Bayonne, NJ, Larry grew up in Point Pleasant Beach, graduating from Point Pleasant Beach High School in 1986. Mr. Curtis then went on to work construction jobs, most recently with Gray Supply Corporation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 836. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Karen Elizabeth Walski Curtis in 2008. Surviving are his children, Brian and Carli Curtis; his dear parents, Thomas and Eileen Curtis; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Loscalzo; his siblings, Thomas & wife June, Kevin & wife Patti, William & wife Erin, Michael & wife Michelle, and Eileen Gardner & husband Bruce. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Pete Walski; brother & sister in law, Paul & Laura Walski; and sister and brother in law, Cathy & James Wallace; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 2-4 and 7-9PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. Entombment will be at 11 on Friday, September 6th at Ocean County Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be received at the funeral home in Brian and Carli Curtis’ name for their future.
