David R. Gago, age 35 of Long Branch, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. David was the owner of MADI Consultants, LLC in Long Branch. He was a member of the Long Branch Portuguese Club, Chop Riderz of Long Branch and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident. Surviving are his wife, Michelle Gago; his son Antonio; his daughter Isabella; his parents Fernando and Celeste Gago; his brother Noel Gago; his grandmothers, Livia Gago and Lurdes Rodrigues; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nicola and Charlotte Altamura and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nicole and Mark Morey. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
