Mrs. Podolak was a teacher for over 30 years in the Cherry Hill School District, known to many as 'Vanna' because because of her creative presentations in the classroom. She made friends easily and her personality drew people to her. To Barbara, any casino was a good casino. She was an amazing cook and baker, who could easily feed an army even if she was only preparing for two. Yet when she wasn't,t cooking, she loved to keep the South Jersey diners in business. She enjoyed Bingo and time spent with her 'Lonney Tunes' bowling team. She was a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter and although she had many friends and enjoyed her fulfilling career as an educator, her most wonderful accomplishment was her family and the love she held for them. She was able to hold her grandson, Emmett, in her arms and in her heart, which truly meant the world to her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday from 1-3 and 5-7pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Memorial Service will be held at 7pm.
