C. Vaughan

C. Dean (Lowe) Vaughan, 86, passed away January 2nd, 2017. Born in Floyd Virginia the daughter of the late Loma Dell (Sweeney) Lowe and A. Jay Lowe Sr. She was the beloved wife of William D. Vaughan for 63 years. Graduated from Radford College at 19 with a double major in English and Math. She taught high school for two years, then worked for NASA at Langley Air Force Base as a mathematician. Dean was a first class seamstress, avid reader, Girl Scout leader, and Sunday school teacher while raising three daughters. She loved travel, planned trips for family and friends worldwide and hosted many people from the Friendship Force. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) D. Vaughan, her brother A. Jay Lowe Jr. (Fray), her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn Vaughan, Dana Vaughan, Jeff Geib, Jane Goodman, and David Goodman and her seven grandchildren; David, Jonathan and Katelyn Kim, Rebecca and William Vaughan-Geib, and Luke and Nicolas Goodman. There will be a visitation on Friday January 13 from 6-7 pm at Bradley Funeral Home on Rt. 73. Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 14 at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Church or a charity of your choice in her name.
