DONOIAN, Charles “Sarkis” James. On October 20, 2016. Age 82. Of Atco, NJ. Beloved husband of 55 years to Marguerite P. (nee Eminian). Devoted father of Alyssa P. Santerian and her husband David and Nicole T. Pody and her husband Timothy. Adoring grandfather of Scott, Phillip, Michael and Emma. Charles was born in Olean, NY and was proud of his Armenian heritage. He enjoyed playing in an Armenian band as well as an Armenian football team. In his younger days he enjoyed car racing and drawing, especially cartooning. He was an avid reader and loved to read about history. He owned and operated restaurants in the South Jersey area where he was able to pursue his interest in cooking. Charles enjoyed studying astronomy and being on his brother’s boat on Portage Lakes, Ohio. Most of all he cherished the time spent with family; his family was everything to him. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday October 22nd from 10-11 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church, 8701 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19128
