Francis X. Rooney July 7, 1966 -December 5, 2016 Age 50 of Marlton Suddenly on December 5 Beloved husband of Jill E. Rooney (Trueland) devoted father to Margaret, Brigid, Colleen, Francis III, Liam and Gerald, all at home. Predeceased by his brother Larry. Survived by his loving parents, Francis and Geraldine Rooney of Cinnaminson, and Jill's parents, Charles and Beverly Trueland of Marlton. Also survived by his siblings, Dennis (Carri) of Delran, Eileen Bleistine of Cinnaminson, Matthew, Brendan of Riverton, Erin Cogan (Kevin) of Cinnaminson. and many loving nieces and nephews. Frank attended Our Lady of Good Counsel and Holy Cross High School where he wrestled and played football. He attended Drexel University and Rutgers (Camden) where he was a member of the TEP fraternity. Frank worked for the Camden County Sherriff's Department and completed his career as Detective Sgt. at Cinnaminson Police Department in February 2015 after 27 years of service. Frank was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus Council 12833 at Mater Ecclesiae Roman Catholic Church. Frank loved spending time with his family, he adored his wife and children and will be missed dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Sunday, December 11 from 4pm to 9pm at the Bradley Funeral Home, RT 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton, NJ and again on Monday from 9am to 10:45am at Mater Ecclesiae Roman Catholic Church, 261 Corss Keys Rd. Berlin, NJ. The funeral mass will be at 11am at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
