Nemerov, Irene Z. (nee Zucker) On February 19, 2017. Age 93. Of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Sheldon Nemerov. Loving mother of Tina Luciani and her husband Guy and Eric Nemerov and his wife Maria. Caring grandmother of Michelle, Brian, Kimberly, Katie and Sarah. Dear great grandmother of Brody. Irene was born in Lodz, Poland and was a Holocaust survivor that traveled to the US alone to meet up with her brother Paul who came one week before. She came to the United States in 1949 and shortly thereafter married her husband Sheldon. They lived in Philadelphia, PA for many years before moving to New Jersey. She spent many years in jewelry sales before retiring. Services were held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum at www.ushmm.org http://www.ushmm.org.
