Robert W. Bush Robert "Bob" W. Bush of Ewansville died peacefully this past Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, after a long bout with heart disease. Born April 21, 1943, Bob loved life and he loved people, including his family and friends, and he never met a stranger. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Thurston; son-in-law, Bert; granddaughter, Kara; grandson, Rafael; his brother, Larry Bush; sister-in-law, Charlotte; nephew, Robert Bush and his family; sister, Joann Hauer; brother-in-law, Emerson; nephew, Tim and wife, Jocelyn; niece, Shannon; and close friends and neighbors, Harry and Debbie Irion and their family. Bob most wanted to be remembered for his service to the community, including as a volunteer firefighter, first responder and Boy Scout leader. He began his working career as a mechanic and became certified. He progressed to become a sales representative for parts companies; a profession which he truly enjoyed. Bob's many interests included aviation, WWII history, NASCAR racing and riding motorcycles. Bob had his pilot's license and really enjoyed flying. He will be truly missed by those that knew and loved him. Vistation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, followed by the memorial service at 7 p.m. at the Vincentown Methodist Church, with a reception immediately following in the fellowship hall of the church.
