Rush, Elizabeth F. (Male) 96, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 10, 2017. She was born in Atlantic City and lived in Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Township. Elizabeth liked to be called Betty. Betty enjoyed traveling, shopping, seek a word puzzles, cross stitching, reading Danielle Steel books, and going to the casinos. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband James; sisters Emma Reyie, Catherine Mackpharne, Edith Dawson; and her brother Philip Male. Betty is survived by her children Judith Wanco, James Rush, Jr., Kenneth Rush and Barbara Rush; her grandchildren, Beth Ann (Bill) Fursin, Kristina (Rich) Buhl, Kathleen (Bronson) Weygand and Jennifer Wanco; her great grandchildren, William Jr, Nickolai and Phillip Fursin, Elizabeth, Richard Jr. and Kyle Buhl, Bronson and Katelynn Weygand, Angelina and Robert Jr. Robinson, and Carleigh Wanco; and her sister, Hilda Przybylek. Services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Road, Egg Harbor Township. Friends may visit from 1 to 2pm at the church. Burial will be held at Asbury Methodist Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 250 Old Turnpike, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.
