Erin Wilson

Wilson, Erin 23 of Linwood, NJ left behind a world that desperately needed her compassion, light and courage. As a social work student at Temple, Erin wanted to do the most good possible for the greater community. It seemed a natural calling for a young woman who had already deeply affected every person she came across. Friends and family will remember Erin's limitless optimism, sense of adventure and sarcastic humor. She was always eager to lend a hand, to speak out against an injustice, to approach new people and invite them into her life. Erin brought tenacity and exuberance to every task that she pursued. Erin Wilson was fearless. In her death, Erin was an organ donor. When she was a little girl, she began with Brownies and bridged to Girl Scouts, a graduate of Mainland Regional High School Class of 2012, Temple University Class of 2017. Erin was a 23 years old when her life was tragically cut short; she was struck by a motor vehicle on November 11, 2016 while going to the Extended Acute Unit at Temple University's Episcopal Hospital, where she interned. Her parents Elizabeth Daley and George Wilson III and her brother George Wilson IV survive her. Erin is also survived by her grandmother Phyllis Wilson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great cousins who will lovingly keep her strong, joyful spirit in their hearts. A celebration of life and wake will be held on Sunday November 20, 2016 at 3:30 PM at the Flanders Hotel 719 E 11 th Street Ocean City, NJ 08226. The family will be receiving friends from 2 PM until the time of the service at the Hotel on Sunday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
