Rocco Clarizo

Clarizo, Rocco F. "Rocky", 91 of Northfield, passed away at Meadowview Nursing Home on March 10, 2017. Rocky was an Atlantic City fixture, working at various restaurants, such as Town Tavern, Shumsky's, and Orsatti's. He was a waiter and bartender in Philadelphia and New York, and he owned the Lafayette Restaurant and Lounge in the 1970s. He was lastly employed by Trump Plaza before he retired. A Navy veteran of World War II, he served aboard the USS Knight and the USS Buck. Rocky was also a member of Local Union #54. He is survived by his wife, Olive; daughter Francine (Nick) of Atlantic City; stepson Jerry Flynn (Linda) of Little Egg Harbor; his sister, Mary Windish of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren; and his nephew, Ross Costantino. He was predeceased by his grandson and "buddy", Jeffery; his sister, Stella; and his parents, Frank and Angeline. Services are private as per Rocky's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rocky may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to and condolences may be left for his family at: adams-perfect.com.
