Frances LaPorta, (nee: Cutugno), 95, of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park 8 to 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park 10am. Entombment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Born in Bakerton, PA, Frances settled in Elizabeth, NJ, then moved to Roselle Park, NJ in 1960. She was a cafeteria worker in Roselle Park High School for 25 years, retiring 30 years ago. Frances was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at Church of the Assumption, Casano Center Senior Citizens Club and the Casano Center. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank A. LaPorta. Surviving are three loving children Peter A. LaPorta, Rosemary Maucher, and Linda Tingley and her husband John William; a dear brother Joseph Cutugno; four cherished grandchildren; nine adored great-grandchildren; and three caring great-great-grandchildren.
