Charles F. Bookmiller of Sparks Rd., Freedom died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 74. He was born September 2, 1942 in Freedom, NY a son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Howlett) Bookmiller. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed watching dirt track car racing and tinkering in the garage on tractors. He was a milk hauler for Dick Maher in Bliss, NY. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen (Frisbie) Bookmiller whom he married May 21, 1966 in Varysburg; his daughter: Patricia (James) McFarland of Delevan; his grandchildren: Kenny Roberts, Ashley (Richard) Kuss, and Jeffrey McFarland; his sister-in-law: Sharon Bookmiller of Georgia; his niece: Debbie (Ian) Tolman and great-nieces: Ashley and Allison Tolman. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Robert Bookmiller. There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
